Picking up the broken pieces of glass She knew perfectly well that she wasn't wealthy Or perfect enough to suit what she always dreamt of. She didn't dare to reach out for help Nor was bave enough to pursue it. Helpless. She ran into the woods Just as she thought the world was crashing down on her A flash of her dream flickered But it was real, it was standing right in front of her. Her stare was hard but doubtful She knew she could take a chance. But she let it go She wouldn't dare of the risk So instead, She ran as fast as her legs could take her Her path blurring as tears began to fill in her eyes. She didn't know where she was heading But one thing's for sure... that is of abandoning the dream. XoXo Randomness.. |
